White Wine
Ingredients
4 Litre Apple Juice | 2 Litre White Grape Juice |
2 kg Sugar | 3 litres Water |
Wine Yeast |
Dissolve sugar in 2 litres of boiled water. In a bucket with tight lid mix all ingredients. Sprinkle yeast on top and stir well. Close lid and place in a warm place (24oC). After 24 hours check that yeast is active (bubbles rising from surface).
Leave for about 2 weeks until bubbles stop. Rack into a clean bucket and leave to settle for 2 - 3 days until clear. Siphon into 8 1 litre bottles, being careful not to disturb the sediment.
